What we do with your details.

Only what the application form asks for. Nothing is gathered in the background.

Applying as an institution

• Institution name and sector
• Contact person's name
• Email address and phone number
• Number of staff to be trained
• The programme you selected, and any message you add

Applying as an individual

• Your full name
• Email address and phone number
• Your organisation and occupation
• The programme you selected, and any message you add

To answer your application: to work out which programme and schedule suit you, to reply with dates, a venue and a quote, and to invoice and issue certificates if the training goes ahead. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell them or pass them to anyone for marketing.

EduLab staff who have been given a dashboard login. Nothing you submit is published on this website or shown to other applicants.

Applications are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Firebase, which is where this website keeps its data. Google runs that service on servers that may be outside Uganda, so your details may be processed abroad under Google's security arrangements.

When a new application arrives we may also send an alert to our own inbox through the email service Resend. That alert contains the details you submitted.

This website sets no cookies for visitors and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not know who you are until you choose to send an application. A sign-in session is stored in the browser for EduLab staff using the admin dashboard, and for nobody else.

We keep your application while we are dealing with it, and afterwards as a record of the training we have delivered. If you would rather we did not, ask us and we will remove it.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to edulabug@gmail.com or call +256 775 232 173 and we will deal with it.
